Title: is this a thing shroud? Post by: pupjoint on December 18, 2010, 23:59:30 pm there are a lot of type 181 at where i am currently stationed, Indonesia.
I found this yesterday at a local show, i suspect it is a 181 housing. We've all seen cracks on any fan housing around the coil mounts...These particular housings could have been a "late" thing..... :P

IIRC, 181s were used as military vehicles in here and also Thailand. Back home where I am from which is about 2 hours flight away, we have probably less than 10 181s in the whole country. i paid approx USD30 for it. i have always wanted a mint unit like Glenn's, but most cars here have the heater snorkles cut and welded shut, and cars those days were treated rough, so i am still looking. ;D if i get a mint unit, i will cut this open just to see the inside...LOL Title: Re: is this a thing shroud?
