Title: Zero offset Ercos? Post by: Jon on May 03, 2006, 08:58:05 am Did DDS make anything similar back in the day? Or is this a new invention...?
How long ago did Erco start making these wheels? Anyone know the "spun" wheels history? DDS, Michell, Douglas?? More? Title: Re: Zero offset Ercos? Post by: Lee.C on May 04, 2006, 02:45:18 am I'd also like to know if anyone knows you can get EROS balanced in the UK?
Noone seems to have a machine that can do the job >:( Title: Re: Zero offset Ercos? Post by: alfie the monster on May 04, 2006, 18:54:33 pm Monkiboy, any good tyre fitter should be able to balance them as long as they can balance Ford Transit wheels. They have to use a 'cone' to fill the flipping great hole to balance them

Between the lines, he is asking why everybody are using zero offset Erco`s when zero offset DDS rims where not availiable. Title: Re: Zero offset Ercos? Post by: Jon on May 08, 2006, 22:40:44 pm Or, when was the first zero released on the marked?
Title: Re: Zero offset Ercos? Post by: SOB/RFH on May 09, 2006, 05:08:51 am The first 0-offset rim was Centerline 3,5"....I would say around 1980 butfirst used on off-road veichles. Spun 0-offset wheels must be mid 90 something.
