Title: Dump/Blow off Valve positioning.
Post by: Steve G on January 18, 2011, 19:29:00 pm
I'm looking for opinions on where to mount a dump valve on my turbo system. I've got a pressure duct similar to the top one of these:

I assume that before the tubes split would be best, but there's not much room there on my setup so it would be easier for me to fit it part way along the longer branch.

Would this be OK? or would there be problems, maybe due to flow changing direction?

Cheers,
Steve.

Not ideal of course, but I'd say its ok to run as the pressure equals out pretty quick.

"Not ideal" is pretty much what I was thinking. Still better than it is now though without one.
