Title: Fuel Pressure?
Post by: Jesus on January 22, 2011, 16:40:35 pm
Just curious really about what fuel pressures people are running on what spec of engine and on what carbs?

I am particularily curious about fuel pressures for 48 IDF's

Cheers

Alex

Hi Mate,

When the car was NA I was also using 3.5 PSI with 48 IDFs.

.....Now I run 4.5 and 9 PSI when on boost :)

Similar question ! I have a carter fuel pump (cb) & 48ida s on a 2276cc
Not running a regulator ! how accurate does the pressure need to be ?
I suspect mine is a little high cos im having problems starting

I run a cb pump on my 2276cc with IDA's with no regulator. The pump is set to run at
3.5psi so requires no regulating. If you are having problems starting I would think the problem is elsewhere.
