I think you should have some custom made,
but where? or just dont use them and use spacers below the barrels

Competition Engineering in Phoenix, AZ will make custom copper spacers.

Thanks for the replies guys
I have found  a laser cutting firm near me called A K STAINLESS in lancashire these guys are  making me a set out of aluminium good price too.
They said they dont do copper as it damages there machine,as the heads are ally i think this should be ok

Garrick, is it not part of the reason that copper is used is that it crushes slightly to allow a good seal? Not sure aluminium (while fairly soft) will do this under the head torque pressures...

HMMM you could be right there, am going to have to try them as av now bought them, the problem with this motor is that 1 set of barrels has been trimmed down by 1mm at the head end of the barrel, so when i try and torque the head down, the head is just about touching the top of the barrels,so the ally shims ive had made will create the clearance thats needed and will also equall out the compression, do ya think that 26lb torque will flatten these shims with them being ally.

Cheers.
