Title: No Piston Marks or Arrow to install right Post by: DKK Ted on April 07, 2011, 17:01:46 pm Got myself into a little problem. When I pulled my motor apart, I forgot to mark my piston to re-install later. The problem is that back when, I had the pistons dished, so all markings have been taking out. I had a NOS Cima piston to match up but no longer have it. I need to install these pistons but correctly. Is there some kind of forged marking on the underside that may tell me which way to they go??
Ted Title: Re: No Piston Marks or Arrow to install right Post by: Rick Sadler on April 07, 2011, 18:06:19 pm On the bottom side of a Cima/Mahle there is a bar on one of the pin bosses. The side that has the bar goes towards the flywheel.
