Cheers, Chris Title: Re: Well done Matt Keene Post by: Fasterbrit on May 01, 2011, 12:26:00 pm Thanks guys for the kind words. The new adjustable rear wing made such a huge difference to high speed stability that it was possible to slowly increase the turbo boost. Marco was on hand to tinker with the ecu for upping the rev limited and also add the boost. This way we were able to make smaller steps rather than just whacking in the full boost setting and hoping for the best. The car feels really 'planted' now at big speed, whereas prior to the wing the rear was really 'loose' above 130 mph. My definitely needs a wing - there's no doubt about it. I would never drive the car again above 130 without a wing!
As always, Marco was a big hand in helping me set up the motor. I think he's just as stoked as I am as essentially the long block is his design, albeit with a Raptor JPM cam that I installed on the last freshen up. we haven't gone to full boost setting yet, so there's a chance the pb might get even quicker. Presently, I am going to pull the motor and address a leaky exhaust valve on no1, so not sure when the car will be out next. There's a chance I might get a visit from the Big Dog (Marco) soon, so maybe we'll bust a groove sooner rather than later. Thanks for all the kind words folks!
