Title: Some pre DKP photos of John Lazenby and Mike Huggins Post by: johnl on April 26, 2011, 21:10:03 pm There are only three photos I’ll share on this one. The first is a vintage photo of me in my first set of wheels at the age of three. I’ve been told that I use to get in this car and on our porch where the photo was taken would spin the wheels on the ice. Just a taste of what was to come.
Photo #2 is of Mike Huggins and me in my parent’s living room. My mom must have shot this as she could never keep anything in correct frame. I’m guessing this is around our graduation in June of 1965. Photo #3 is me with my ‘63 when freshly painted in Firemist green in our driveway. Probably getting ready to lead one of the Anaheim to Hollywood Caravans by the way I’m dressed. Could I have ever been that thin?? Maybe that is why when Christie met me she referred to me as “Spaghetti with eyes”. Note; the front of the car sits high as I suspect I had the welded shocks installed for “the look”. Great times and great memories. Title: Re: Some pre DKP photos of John Lazenby and Mike Huggins Post by: Fastbrit on April 26, 2011, 21:26:18 pm Very C 8) 8) L!!

You got two of the three correct. The shoes are British Walker Shell Cordovan saddles. No KS, this has nothing to do with your country.. ;) ;) ;) I still have a few pair of saddles that I bring out from time to time as they make me feel young again and Lord knows I need that.......... ::) ::) ::) Title: Re: Some pre DKP photos of John Lazenby and Mike Huggins Post by: deano on April 27, 2011, 20:47:45 pm John, it was either Florsheim shoes, or penny slots....

I only wore British Walkers or Stacy Adams. The BW's saddles were $32 back then which was HUGE $$. I was lucky as I worked in a Traditional Men's Clothing store and got "deals". ;D My Dad wore the Florshime brand. Back in the day I think what you are calling "penny slots" were known as penny loafers. :) :) |
