Title: ID a wheel please
Post by: 71CALRIPPER on May 14, 2011, 17:52:11 pm
Going to be finding a new home for these wheels soon, but I have no idea what they are. They look a little like a star cut ERCO but they are not a split rim as such..Very light and well made?

They are 7s all round but the offset up front is so good its tucked without an narrowed beam..

Are you sure it's a 7? I think I see a 165R15 on the sidewall, sure doesn't fit like a 165 on a 7"...

See the wheel lug on the far left? Now go straight out from there, 165R15

If it was a 7 the wheel lip would be hanging out past the 165 tire... good luck with the MOT man ;)

There was a company years (At least ten) that ran ads in Hot VW`s selling wheels like that. I don`t remember the name but they were small black and white ads and they only ran a few times.

Looks like a CMS rim. They do off road bead locks too. Might be in in Santa fe springs or Norwalk Ca.
