black is a "passe partout" color my old 74 was black and you can put which wheels you want on the car and it looks good and same with chrome trim or not ,but it's the dirtiest color and so hardly finished being washed we already see dusts above :-\ Title: Re: black cal lookers! I got the car for my 16th bday in 1979 and drove it all around so cal until 1983 when I did a pan off and dechromed it full cal look style, dave folts trans, 2275 190hp, spanked lots of cars of the years. Mr. Richie now owns it.
