Title: double-jamb nut type pushrod tubes Post by: bugnut68 on June 09, 2011, 18:06:07 pm Among some parts I've acquired recently are a set of two-piece double jamb-nut pushrod tubes.. not sure of the brand, could be Scat or Empi... anybody have any experience with these? I know I read rave reviews of the Jaycee versions, just wondering if these are worth using on anything, as I personally have only experience with stock tubes. ???

Luckily I never had to use them, but if you break a push rod or a push rod seal starts leaking badly you can fix it on the spot. I also carried a spare set of push rods. They are good for a temporary fix only as they will eventually start leaking.

I have no idea who made these, got 'em in a lot of parts recently and have seen them in magazines and in catalogs, but no experience with them personally. I think the guy I got them from had them in a sandrail or buggy or baja, or something to that effect. |
