Title: Oil Preasure question.. Post by: 71CALRIPPER on June 22, 2011, 12:47:13 pm Guys quick question on oil preasure, took the motor for a spin last night but noticed the Idiot light flickers on idle, but the VDO guage stays happy at around 45 psi at idle and rises as she goes up the revs...! Anything to be worried about or check?

The BEST oil that I've found recently is Mobil1 synethic for V-twins either the 10-40 (cool weather) or the 20-50 (hot weather) -- both have the ZDDP (Zinc for the lifters) in the 15,000 to 18,000 range -- they are about $7.50 a quart |
