Title: Late fan/Early 40hp housing Post by: Taylor on July 11, 2011, 22:44:25 pm I thought I read on here that this was possible but after a 40min search I can locate it. I have to run an early shroud instead of my Thing shroud because my motor is too narrow. Any help would be appreciated. thanks Taylor

Title: Re: Late fan/Early 40hp housing Post by: Sarge on July 12, 2011, 14:46:39 pm When using the round early 40hp shroud with the rectangular indentation at the top, you need the 131 119 031 fan... not the 113 119 031 B which is slightly wider and used on the doghouse shroud. The Porsche cooler requires a fair amount bashing inside the shroud (there's a piece of tin ducting at the top of where the cooler sets inside the shroud that needs to be "moved") to fit properly. That's interesting. I never would have thought the indentation would be an issue since it's above the fan...
