Sorry about todays downtime guys... My servers powersupply died on me. It has been replaced now and the system is back online.

I should have PMed you but I PMed Jon instead.

A little problem update...
I changed to my new power supply yesterday (I have borrowed one for a while to not have more downtime then we need) and had some problems after with damaged memory banks (and potencially memory chips).
Therefor the server is currently running og 50% lower memory than before. I will go and buy new memory after work today and put it in as soon as I get home. So please bare with the downtime this causes.

We really really want the server to be stable again with 100% memory before I take a 36 day vacation in California. Because we do not want the server to be unstable at that point! I think you guys can appreciate why :-)

So in short: server might be rebootet a few times today...

Sorry

Trond:-)

Trond - will you be able to update the Top20 list before you take a well deserved holiday?

Okey, finally got hold of the memorytype I needed last night and got the memory installed.
Also fixed the database configuration to NOT eat up all the memory the server had so hopefully that will also help :-)

Please let me know if you guys are having any problems.
Have a nice summer and a nice time at EBI! hrmf..

Sorry guys, 1,5 hours of downtime today due to the Internet Service Provider had to replace a router. It was going to take about 10 minutes, but Murphy stopped by so it took 1,5 hours instead.

Ouch... I guess the server is mad that I went to California without it... It has for some retarded reasonen went completely off twice this weekend. Since is locked into a cold serverroom its limited when I can get someone to start it. I appologize and hope It doesnt happen again until I'm home again and check it out...

Sorry again guys... seems they have had some issues with the power at my work. The local power company came today to see if they could identify the problems... I really dont know if they have, but I got the IT guy to move my server to another circuit...
Hope it fixes the issues we have experienced lately...

Thanks for the update and all of your efforts, Trond. Are you still in So Cal? Let's get a few people together.

Wish I was in So Cal... lots of people and shops to visit, but I am up north in Santa Cruz. A full schedule with multiple weddings and birthdays and traveling with my family prevents me from joyriding down south It seems.. hehe.. I should try to find a car or something that I need to go down and look at ;-)

Just had a quick trip to Vegas before the weekend with my wife.. was fun, but hot.. 107..ouch

I was hoping to put ideaman's burners in my suit cases since I guess he is relatively close, but I have played that card a previous year so I dont think my wife will have it  ;D

Would be fun though! Perhaps I will get a chance, or if not we will hopefully get a chance next time we are here.

Ooh! Harsh! :D

It's a bit inconvenient when the site goes down (I have to go and do some real work...), but when I look at what we've got here, and for free too, I don't mind too much! Thanks Trond and Jon! ;D
