Title: EMPI split-rim bolt tiorque?
Post by: Fastbrit on September 15, 2011, 11:19:35 am
Just had a call from a friend who wants to know what the correct torque would be for tightening the bolts of a set of EMPI five-spokes. Anyone help? Cheers!

I've no idea, but I'd like to know for split rim eight spokes! :)

For 8 spokes it's 25 ft/lbs. Not sure about 5's...

Rule of thumb.  Tight till they start stripping, then back them off a 1/4 of a turn.   ;D
