my racecar has a stock mastercylinder with drumbrake in front and willwood disks at the rear and I am not happy withe the brake preassure. Has anyone the same setup? Which mastercylinder are you using? Udo told me about one from the 944 but he donīt have a partnumber... Thanks for your help! Title: Re: Brake mastercylinder on racecar Post by: Udo on November 20, 2011, 17:09:31 pm The problem is not the higher pressure but the volume . We had the same when using the small racing calipers. You need more diameter to get more volume to each brake.
22 or 25 mm on the master cylinder. I have now 19 for the original front brakes and 24 on the rear for the aluminium calipers . That works perfect. The master cylinder is from a 944 Porsche but i do not know the part number and model Udo |
