That clip was originally done for TV but I don't know what the program is, I think it may be something for Sky Sports. That weekend the elimintations were rained out so I'm not sure whether or not it will/has been shown on TV or not. The production company concerned have the Quartermile TV website (www.quartermiletv.com) which is where it is hosted. Don't know if they'll film the class again but it seems to be getting plenty of attention so there's a good chance they will. The clubs website (www.outlawflatfour.com) has a few video clips on too and more will be added in the near future though they're only short clips.

He sent his last times off to the Top racers league but doesn't seem to have made it on yet?

Wow - that car is going faster and faster! Will be interesting to see how fast he will go with the nitrous. I know we have had some minor data problem but I do not think we have received Bernie`s mail. Could you please ask him to send it again - with the new and improved time.

Think everyone had a good weekend,the weather was kind to us and track was good,in 1 round I dont think anyone did a burnout as it was so sticky :)
Several PBs,congrats to all that managed that,
I only had 1 pass due to a minor issue but ran 10.42@135 shutting of about 1000ft so the new set up is coming together  :) Roll on Bug in ;D

I would recognize that cut anywhere, it's the laser often used at Gardermoen!

Oh no dear friend - that`s not the Gardermoen laser. The last two pics shows the typical Sway Away Stamped 99 laser and this laser can be found at any sticky strip - unfortunately.

Hi Kobus, are the garages definite? I just got off the phone to Travis and he'd like to leave his car tent behind to save some space and weight ;D

I just got a mail to say the Outlaw Flat Four footage in that clip and some of the other classes from the SCR Nationals in May is on the  Sky Sports World Motorsports program this Sunday (15th) at 8:00pm and is repeated on Tuesday. The details are on the news page of the Outlaw site (www.outlawflatfour.com).

If I had Sky I'd probably watch it myself!  :D

I'll call my dad and get him to burn it onto a DVD ;D

There's now a clip of a run down the Chimay track at the Bug-In from inside Dean's chop top up on the Outlaw website. Looks like the camera got the shakes half track but there's a nice view of the countryside which is only margianally spoilt by Dean's head!

I just typed something about Dave trying to get as much length as Phil, then I realised it sounded really dodgy... :o  Dave's car really seemed to just accelerate - no squatting on launch, just pick up and go!

I think an 11.87 @ 111, I lost track of what was happening. PB's kept on falling run on run. A weekend of action to remember, way too mad. Looking forward to a quiet weekend in catching up with videos of the Antiques Roadshow.  ;D

This meet was the first bit of 'spannering' for Stitch Up all year, everyone did a fantastic job to get all the cars out in the second round as we had 2 cars which needed replacement axles and c.v's. well done to all with PB's this weekend, Bernie's investigating the problem in the final today ;D

Gutted I couldn't make it - got about 14 miles into my journey, stopped for petrol and the beetle wouldn't start! And after I spent the last week rebouilding the whole front suspension, heater channel end plates and quarter panels too!  ::)

It was one hell of a weekend but Outlaw Flat Four isn't going anywhere in a hurry (other than straight down the track)! There's plenty more to come. Next stop Hot Rod Drags, DAS Drag Day 5, an additional October meet (provisional and not on the calendar) and then a quick round up at Flame & Thunder. See you sometime soon.  :)

Great weekend guys so heads up racing will never work because the fastest car will always win yeh right.
