Title: New TIV 228 mm lightweight flywheel from TTV
Post by: Frallan on January 24, 2012, 01:55:03 am
I have just sent money to Ben Crisp at TTV for a lightweight 228 forged flywheel.
This idea started a few months ago when I just got the reflex to send a request to several flywheel manufacturers in USA and UK.
Only TTV in UK gave me a potential yes, if I sent a cast flywheel to them.
This was done during Christmas.
Ben Crisp was my contact and he managed me with top level professional approach.
I got a quote for 308 pounds shipped to Sweden. Equals approximately USD 500 at todays rate.

Delivery in 4-6 weeks.
I will post progress.

That is very interesting . i was wondering how strong the original cast one would be . i need one for the gator push engine. We had 245 hp last year with many wheelies. this year i change to 101,6 p/c and think about a different flywheel. How long do you think they need to make another one ?

Udo, I have no idea. Ask Ben Crisp. This one was about 4 weeks. Probably quicker.
Kg....when i come closer to the product...I am far away right now.
