Title: Turnkey 10s T1 motor and matching 091 box Post by: Jay Aldred on February 21, 2012, 11:15:44 am Due to work commitments I am selling my engine and gearbox that I ran in the drag buggy.
This is a serious bit engine built by John Maher back in 2006, it as done 20 passes at santa pod and has run down to low 10s easily. The plan for this motor was always mid to low 9s which it is well capable of. Also I have the matched gearbox built by pete at cogbox again this is a serious piece of kit. Please be aware I will not deal with anyone on this who does not know what it is, picture will be provided following a phone call or if you can convince me you are serious about buying it. I don`t need the money or the space so I want this to go to somebody who will do what I wanted to do with it but don`t have the time now. So motor first This engine is 2332cc and made 470bhp and 450ft/lb of torque on the JMR dyno. I have the dyno print for proof. It also did this at a modest boost of 18psi. I beleive this engine could make over 550bhp by winding the boost up, pronably more. The motor is tuned to run on C16 or alike but could be detuned to remapped to run on pump gas. This engine has all the best components, Scat all T4 main flanged crank Comp eliminator heads extensively reworked, titanium valve train. wiseco pistons, AA barrels Pauter rods 5.7" webcam 86b o 112 degree lobe centres Mag case Competition engineering twin tilton floater clutch Holset turbo Jon rathobone custom induction and exhaust 8 x 600cc injectors Charge cooler by pace DTA ecu wiring loom Bailey dump valve/CB wastegate Jenvey 70mm single throttle body 2 x 044 bosch pumps Aeromotive rising rate regulator Too much more to list but call me for a chat on the rest. Gearbox 091 6 rib T2 box Syncro Diff Chromoly output flanges Gene berg T1 nose cone conversion Ratios fully matced to the motor Again call me for more info. Right Price I want £6500 for the lot, this package cost well over 15k in parts and labour alone. I will not split the motor or box and would prefer it to go together. If it doesn`t then I will consider spliting the box and motor. I would consider a swap for a solid rust free karmann ghia or oval, no fixed up welded together stuff just good honest solid cars please. This is a steal people and if you want to go really fast call me. I will ship to europe at purchaser cost.
