Title: CSP disc brakes on dropped spindles Post by: Jesse/DVK on February 23, 2012, 15:15:02 pm Currently i'm running a set of CSP front disc brakes on my '64 beetle (link pin) with stock drumbrake spindles. To get more comfort I would like to install dropped spindles. Does anyone now if they fit dropped spindles. BTW are there any differences on the spindles which are offered by different shops? Offset and quality?

The problem was the caliper did not clear the dropped spindle. Making a guess, the disc kits for use with dropped spindles have the caliper in a different place around the disc, than the disc kits for standard spindles.
