They feel just like armchairs, very comfortable, but big! I'll be sticking with stock seats in the '70, but the '51 will probably get Beards or the Empi/Race Trim copies.

We were sat (comfortably) in a restaurant in Havasu city and the people in the booth behind (one of which wasn't sitting so comfortably) were discussing the fact that the seats in a CLK weren't so comfortable with hemorrhoids so one of the guys suggested sticking Beards in it. This was a guy that had also confused the hell out of some turtle by putting it in the back of his pick up and driving it home to chill out in his hot tub, god knows why. Seems the springs have to weaken in these original seats over time. I beat a good seat guy could firm them up too. It allows me the ability to fully recline them and they have a lot of adjustment forward and back. They are great on road trips too. I bought extra material and had CLF member ZACH do biscuit door panels to match.
