People that sell things but aren't willing to ship anywhere make me laugh. Seriously... what's the difference where the address is on the parcel?

 ???

I'll ship to another planet if that ever becomes possible during my existence on this ball that we call Earth.

I'm thinking that they're afraid to get ripped off. It's not just US sellers either. I've tried to get some parts for my BMW E21 from Europe and some sellers won't ship outside of the EU.

Oh well... then they shouldn't be selling things. I've been on the Internet since '94 and have yet to experience any problems selling or buying. 'Tis very simple... exchange e-mails or phone calls, pictures are also a big help, and use PayPal or a money order. I just don't understand how feckless people can be, these days.

At any rate, good luck, Peter.

I strongly advise checking/double checking that seller's feedback before sending him one red cent.  He's got some questionable character, IMO, not only from the folks posting there, but also in the attitude he throws out in his signature line.  Buyer beware!

My biggest problem doing international selling is the shipping quotes I get online and give to the purchaser are usually double when I get to the post office. It's happened to me more times than i'd like to admit. Also, there is no way to track the package with USPS. If it gets held up in customs for a month, all I can do is tell the purchaser to have faith it will show up, but really I have no idea since I can't track it.

I suppose I could go with UPS or Fed Ex but I sell so little, especially international that it doesn't justify setting up accounts with them.

I think that it is a good idea to check EVERY sellers feedback before sending money . . . even if you use PayPal!

I noticed that also . . . those poor IDAs look like they have been thrashed! The odd hardware on them makes me wonder how many threaded holes have been stripped out.

PETER!  Do not buy from that deadbeat!  Even if you get someone to go there in person.

It is a BAD idea to buy any carbs that have been used in the sand.  The grit gets everywhere and wears out the throttle shafts, acc pump levers, bearings, etc.

The problem that some vendors have with shipping out of the country, or even across country, is actually with PayPal.
If the part isn't exactly the shade of pink or blue they were expecting they complain and PayPal will debit the vendors account.
There doesn't seem to be a good arbitration process to dispute the claim.
The days of Buyer Beware have become Vendor Beware.
