Title: Jacob's Ghia Post by: Greg G on March 20, 2012, 02:20:44 am My boy Jacob has been driving the 59 bug I gave him last January after he got drivers license. Now that the bug has the turbo motor back in it, he cannot drive it as much as he would like to. The turbo 2332 isn't really built to be street driven. This car is suppose to be a Unlimited Street car, not a daily driver.
Today we took delivery of his Ghia. This is a new project for him. The body is in ok condition and the interior has seats and door panels, but no headliner or carpet. There is a lot of clean up needed before he puts his small stroker motor in it and starts driving it around. We also found a good used pair of 205/70's for the rear. They were a little taller than what I wanted, but they were ok with a little fender trimming.
I think the rear needs to go down a bit. The taller tire raised it up a little too much. Jacob also wire brushed the pan and painted it with some truck bed liner paint. Its really durable!
