Never bolt on an extra sump on a drysump engine. Perhaps a small 20 mm that we use for smaller street engines .

What pumps are people using on street builds?

The idea of dry sump is that A your sump isnt filled with oil aka dry and B the "sump" is the oil tank ;)

I've got the CB tank in my setup, and I'd say it's worth paying twice as much for a Peterson (or similar) tank. The Money savings in the CB tank comes from the fact that you can't split the halves like in more expensive tanks...which means you can't clean the tank out. I didn't think this was a big deal until I filled my oil with metal particles from an engine failure.

The grief of cleaning out the tank, and the wish that I could clean my tank every oil change, means I'm going to be upgrading to a Peterson tank soon.

Be careful in choosing the CB tank if it is not a very simple streetcar with almost no G forces.
Too small tank (Wide and no height), no baffles, no dearator function and as mentioned in previous post, no posibility to open up.

I bought and modified it slightly but ended up reverting to my older byt higher larger tank from Pegasus.
A nice and what I think is British built tank.
Petersen, Moroso, Aviaid and more make nice tanks but of course at a different price.

I use a tank from a company made in germany and make my own pumps. 26 mm out and 38mm in
