Title: my old 74 is back home

my old daily driver is back home after a long storage in my grand pa garage , still have my first bug , in 2 years that will make 20 years i own that car
i drove that car during 9 years , all seasons , more than 60000kms/37500mile

peter , no plan at this moment , and if i rebuild the car :no former glory  , would like to build a late 70's cal look

Fabian, was this car originally a Standard model? Not seeing the extra defrosters on the dash top. Plus, the fuel fill door has the Standard non-cable.

Make it runs like this and enjoy it  ;)

It will be more motivating to start with a rolling project if you plan to build it later.  :)

Plus, the fuel fill door has the Standard non-cable.

By '74 the fuel flap thumb recess had reappeared on all Beetles.

i suppose mark , not sure about that ,normally my car had the ears behind the rear wndows but we welded them  to have the older look , i've also a big plastic on the dash

Hey Fabian!

I like your grey standard, but this one show us what you created before the "lounge".
Why not just freshen it up to itīs former daily status and keep it as that. Its "Speedwellīs" 90īs history and a part of European "callook" history. Itīs your first try on "callook" and a really nice car. I would keep it as is for the future, just give it a little love and care and drive it as you did in the past.
Itīs the "Arcivist history callook" ;D

thx bugsy  , i know it's a part of belgian history  cal look  .. ;D...but for now no plan to restore it , i will keep it and see in the future what happening
