Title: LB2 & Bill’s ’59 going to Japan! Post by: Stephan S on June 14, 2012, 19:25:20 pm A number of you will be familiar with the Hot Rod Custom Show organized by Mooneyes in Yokohama, Japan. Held in December every year, the one-day show is massive with about 15,000 visitors.

VWs don’t represent the bulk of the entries of course; but this year’s show (December 2nd) will feature a special exhibit of Volkswagens called “Air Cooled in Action” with a lot more VWs than previous years. (http://www.mooneyes.co.jp/express) The great news is that two VWs from So-Cal have been invited to the event: The Schley Brothers’ Lightning Bug 2 and Bill Schwimmer’s ’59 Ragtop!
