Title: 90/10 Shocks, whats the deal with these?
Post by: leec on June 16, 2012, 18:47:53 pm
Currently my Oval has standard front shocks which have been absolutely fine and the car has run a best of 1.509 second 60 foot time.

At Garys picnic the car lifted the front wheels slightly but became obvious the front shocks are very long when extended (jacking the car up confirms this)

Would I benefit from running a 90/10 drag shock, and whats the aim of running them?
Finally, who makes good ones for a linkpin beam (part numbers?)

Lee :)

is it spining the tyres? if not then you dont need them, and they used to be something available from carrera, but they got bought up and no longer make them, they were for a different car anyway[corvette maybe? ]

cheers richie

Hi Richie,
No wheel spin, saves me some cash then!

If  you need 90/10 shocks, try QA1, they double adjustable shocks, possibility to have 324 settings  :D
