Title: ANDY GRIFFITH PASSES Post by: johnl on July 03, 2012, 16:03:40 pm I just saw the news that Andy Griffith has passed away at age 86. For those of you who grew up in America back in the early 1960's he had to have been a part of your life. His show was small town America and taught us good values towards our fellow man. Unlike so many of the shows that are on TV these days there were lessons to be learned. I still watch his shows and always enjoy the messages they offer.
God's speed Andy and be sure to tell O'l Barn we miss him too.............. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( Title: Re: ANDY GRIFFITH PASSES Post by: Fritter on July 03, 2012, 16:18:50 pm Bummer. I loved those shows when I was a kid. Goober just passed a month or two ago, also.

From that point on I only see the actor and not the characters they're portraying. In a sense ruining the illusion/fantasy. Just my two cents. Title: Re: ANDY GRIFFITH PASSES Post by: Rick Meredith on July 03, 2012, 21:53:22 pm A Great show... Always one om my favs!
