Title: prototype looker ?
Post by: Black Sheep on June 15, 2007, 20:43:11 pm
I found this while I was trawling through the net last night . think it was taken in Australia .
I know Wolfsburg commissioned a replica prototype but it looks like some clever bugger has made their own .
Any one know anything about it ?
Thought my car was a early looker but this is just nuts . Awesome looking car !
( needs to get the back end back up thow as it looks a bit too resto for my taste )
lets see your early lookers .

Photochop!
That's what I thought . but why go to the all the bother setting it in a line up of classic cars and putting aussie reg plates on it ? If it is a photochop then its very good .
Its also got shadow,s the same as the cars around it , light reflection , and one of those cars is reflected in the side of it .

The car is a VW 30 replica and was build for D'leteren, the belgian VW importer. The first one (blue color) was build for Volkswagen and is on display in the Zeithaus at Autostadt in Wolfsburg. Both are from Werner Zinke and his team, located in eastern Germany. They build the cars from scratch - amazing!
Cheers,
