Title: Gearbox mounting

Hi guys been thinking about my rear suspension and this idea of mounting the box looks like it will fit but do you have to machine the bell housing down to compensate ?

Pauter crank/flywheel is longer to compensate for a motor plate like that,in fact most flange crank/flywheel combos are longer
