I’m really guttered ,,,,,but hopefully I’ll built another one, one day, I have started this project about year ago, and it’s almost done I’d say 80% done, My plan was to built a super fast street legal bug with a 2170cc EFI Turbo and running a inter cooler inside the car(rear passenger seat area ) and using 4x4 Cosworth throttle body,, I have advertised the car separately in a different thread here, but if there’s someone interested in the whole project contact me I’ll be happy to discuss, So I’ll start with the engine ENGINE 2170cc Engine is built by Paul miller @Harry Harpics Engine spec is AS41 Case Full Flow 94mm Mahle barrels and pistons 78.4mm CB Performance Crank CB Unitech con rods SS CB044 CNC heads 42x37mm ported to manifolds. (Heads are real work of art by Paul) CB Performance 1:1 ratio rockers Engle turbo cam TSC 20 Equalizer pulley fitted with one off custom crank trigger wheel(looks really hard core) Straight Cut Cam gear by Scat CB deep sump Jaycee push rod tubes Lightened Flywheel Stage 2 KEP pressure plate CB Dual friction clutch plate Scat gland Nut Cut to length push rods steel 8:1 comp ratio Scat lightweight followers Crank flywheel and pressure plate dynamically balanced Heads ported to manifold/exhaust As u know when u building a motor like this none of the original tin wear will fit nicely, so I have used genuine VW tin wear AND EXTEND THEM TO FIT NICELY AROUND THE HEADS , these will be need to repaint ,,, 30hp fan shroud is welded with original factory air fins etc, GENE BERG welded and balanced fan, JAY ZEE FUEL BLOCK OFF Scat rocker covers, CSP oil breather, Everything is brand new except as41 case, was in my 1914 cc motor which I haven’t done even 3000 mile. I wanted to get more power so went with TURBO route. Engine will come as a 98% turnkey, ENGINE IS “0” MILES STILL NEED TO RUNNING IN I will give you Brad Penn running in oil and I have Brad Penn engine oil to go after running inn too (BOUGHT FROM STATE SIDE TUNING) EFI OMEX 600 ECU WITH PROFESSIONALLY built wiring loom for air cool VW’s (wiring loom is one of the best looms I have ever seen, still in packing when I look at it it’s very straight forward everything is labelled and plug and play) All the sensors are including, there all from Omex and crank trigger wheel is a one off custom built, ROVER 220 TURBO blue top injectors, Cosworth 4x4 single throttle body (Plan was to run a single throttle body but i have CUSTOM made dummy body’s for each side with fuel rails.(REBUILT UNIT ) TURBO Fully rebuilt T34 (T04b) Built by Turbo Wilky,, Comp. wheel 49mm inducer 69mm exduser Exhaust wheel 49mm exduser 59mm inducer 360 Bearing Inconol 713 shaft .48 exhausts housing or .63ex.housing RAY JAY External waste gate (used) The entire pipe work for Exhaust, Turbo and for the Throttle bodies are from CB performance...
