With the racing pretty much done for this year I have sent my times in,along with some other peoples for them,Trond is going to update the All time list and will do this years lists if he gets enough interest,so come on everyone,send him your times in and give us something else to talk about over the winter months,the target will be on someones back for next year then,we will all know what we have to aim at to be better ;D

I was reviewing the "Lookers" list and was amazed at the number of low and mid-11-second Beetles with NA Type 1 engines, usually 2332 cc or similar.

Are some of these cars severely lightened, or what other mods have produced such low ET's?

My wife did 11,5 with our 67 all steel car. Only passenger seat removed but with rollbar . 2276 engine and short gearbox . We had 230 hp at that time , engine is now in the ex Vanderhorst super street car running 11,0

I noticed Udo's time shows it was done at tierp, I think that should be at bitburg

Of course i do some little changes on the engine . there is a lot of potential but first only a little , only to be shure i can make 9's at bitburg also
