Has anyone tried the barrel and piston sets from AA? Tempted to get the 90.5 strokers as there under £180 I did have some forged mahle strokers but the quality wasn't amazing I didn't feel, the barrels looked to be finished with an angle grinder.... I've heard AA have come along way... It's for a daily driver and the pistons will be anti friction and thermal barrier coated. Cheers Andy Title: Re: AA p&c's? Post by: Greg G on October 27, 2012, 00:34:57 am I have been running AA forged pistons and cylinders for a few years now in various motors. Never a problem. I always have the cylinders honed to get good skirt clearance. I also wet sand the skirt coating a little and feather the edges of it.
