I have a 1600 long block and a spare Type 181 shroud hanging around. I could mock it up to see if they fit. I just have to find a IDA to borrow. If they don't fit, i'll just sell them, since I already have too many parts i'm not using in my house. Title: Re: Short IDA manifolds Post by: HERB on November 02, 2012, 18:27:01 pm There was a shop in N.Y. back in the 80's that made short manifolds that looked like those, and they also had a modular cylinder head setup. Was their name Speed Unlimited? I think the guy moved to Michigan and opened shop there. I had a set of their short 48 ida manifolds in 1982-83, but I just can't be sure that was the companies name.

It sat in Chuck Fryers garage outside Chicago for a few months and I remember checking it out. Looks like it works, maybe with a few dents, maybe not.
