Title: anti shocker
Post by: nicolas on November 17, 2012, 13:49:03 pm
what are the dimensions of a anti shocker (washington or other)?

i want to know the tread diameter and pitch and the body length and total length in particular.
if someone has info about what force or impact they can handle that could be useful too.

thanks

you can search the Ace Controls catalogue and pick out something that fits where you want to mount it and what you want to do with it.
I think most are using a MA-600 but some are using a MA-900. You can find deals on them on Ebay

i have to admit that it is a bit on the big side from what i have seen.

judging on what i can read and remember i think i was looking for a MA 150 or an MA225

The MA225 is what Berg and mostly everyone else is using. It slipped my mind what the number was. It is 3/4" diameter thread. Mike Lawless has one for sale right now. Ebay is still the best place to buy one. Mike had his on here for a very low price.
