Title: Old T Shirt artwork for Sum Fun and Radical Rod
Post by: Larry S on December 05, 2012, 02:06:50 am
I found the old T Shirt artwork done for us by Jeff Kawaguchi in 1984. Our race car storage was right next to his shop and we became good friends, what a talent! He is the guy that lettered both the Sum Fun and Radical Rod cars also. So anyway.....I was thinking of having some new shirts made from the original artwork, would anyone be interested in buying one if I made some? I was just going to make some up for family and close friends but if others were interested I might make some extras. I would charge a fair price for them, not looking to make a bunch of money.....Let me know if you might be interested so I can decide how many to make.
Thanks,

Larry

Larry,

Put me down for two XL's.  Have great memories of both cars competing at some of my early events in the 80's.  Let me know the cost.

Hey, where did my 83 911 end up?

OK guys, we are going to get this going in January after the Holidays. I will order the sizes requested and a few extra. I will PM all of you who asked for one and let you know of how the costs come out and if you still want one, if so we will work out the shipping issues.

Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy New year!

Larry

Merry Christmas to you too Rick,
I forgot to tell you about the 911, it went to a guy in the middle of Missouri, between Springfield and St. Louis. It was a fun car but I was more of a VW guy. I got a 1958 european ragtop and finished it off. It has been since sold to a guy in Florida. I am currently without a VW. I still frequent the Samba and this web site and enjoy looking and interacting with the VW crowd, not a better car crowd exists than the people in the VW scene. My oldest son just finished his first semester (with a 4.0) at OU (go Sooners!) and is working on his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. My second son is involved in football, basketball, track, and band. My daughter is involved in Volleyball, captain of the cheerleading squad, track, and band. Between all of this stuff and the costs associated I dont have much time or money for anything else, but it is all good, another few years and I will be missing all of it. Maybe after the dust settles I will end up with another "fun" car. We made it past Y2K and the end of the Mayan calender so who knows what the future holds!
