Title: Billet Specialties Street Lites, Chevy pattern front brakes
Post by: Jonny Grigg on December 26, 2012, 19:10:09 pm
I am after a pair of Billet Specialties Street Lites, 3.5" or 4" wide, Chevy 5x4.75 bolt pattern

Also a pair of front brakes for ball joint spindles to fit a race car. Billet type hubs, strange or Wilwood calipers, Chevy 5x4.75" bolt pattern, similar to the Airkewld or JayCee/Geers/Lummus designs

WHY?

Thanks,

Jonny

Johnny, can't you adapt the spindle mount wheels you've already got? Pretty sure Dave Dinning did? :)

Hi Neil, to be honest I have no idea how to do that with these wheels..... How did Dave mount the discs?

I'm not sure mate, but I know that plenty of hot rodders have adapted discs to spindle mount American Racing 12 spokes. Give Dave a shout and see what he says?
I reckon welding a boss to the back of the wheel to bolt a small disc to would do it. Then a small bracket bolted to the spindle to hold a lightweight calliper. You don't have a huge amount of weight on the front end so you wouldn't need some massive jobs!
