Title: 2387cc vw t1 engine.
Post by: Bad bug on January 12, 2013, 02:58:45 am
Good day all,

Am i out there for thinking of building a 2387 cc vw daily driver. I want louds of torque naturally without a turbo at first then this engine will see a turbo in it's last configuration. Can i say have a 200 ft/lbs torque monster with this size engine.

Good day dragvw2180,

What was the engine like before you turboed it torque wise.

I built it specifically for turbo so never was N/A . Torque with the turbo under boost is amazing , when It gets in forth gear under boost it sounds like a freight train behind me. You definately need to gear it high so that the engine can use the torque . I am sure everyone is tired of the vid of my race car but It is a good example of what a street engine can do.
