Title: There are good tracks... and there is SCC's Gardermoen!!
Post by: Jon on July 05, 2007, 10:08:33 am
I knew the track was good, but just how good I didnt know. Now I know... it's the best in Europe!
It has the fastest track record in europe! Urs Erbacher did a 4.747sec @ 513km/h at Gardermoen International Raceway last summer.

It just shows what oxygen full air, PURE rubber surface and a perfectly flat track can do.

See you at SCC!

JHU and Mat, I think it is also worth mentioning that they have done a lot of work to get rid of the water problem they had last year. Judging by the heavy rain fall we had at the last event this spring and how quickly they managed to dry the track afterwards it looked like they did something right.

Does not really matter because it will not rain this SCC  8)

They have digged 402 meters x2 with drains... but we are not going to need them as BB says...  ;)

With no rain we wouldn't be able to race egg shells out of the back of the tent and that could end up being a little boring. I suppose some quick Scandinavian cars could make up for that but it's a tough call.
