Title: It's only been 6 years Post by: Jim Ratto on March 07, 2013, 21:39:24 pm Hard to believe it but the long anticipated 88 x 74 for Sheep is in it's final stages. What was going to be (6 years ago) an 1800, 40 x 35.5 square port, Engle V26 and 48 Webers (then dual 40PII's), is now an ultra low maintenance, conservative and tidy single-port 1800, 236' cam, stock 30PICT, 010, and Abarth 4 tip. While it won't make near the HP the square port combo would have, it will keep Mrs. Sheep happy (she'll be commuting) and it will be a great fit for some vintage sports car rallies they plan on attending. Think warmed-over pre-Cal Look, circa 1966....
