Title: It's only been 6 years
Post by: Jim Ratto on March 07, 2013, 21:39:24 pm
Hard to believe it but the long anticipated 88 x 74 for Sheep is in it's final stages. What was going to be (6 years ago) an 1800, 40 x 35.5 square port, Engle V26 and 48 Webers (then dual 40PII's), is now an ultra low maintenance, conservative and tidy single-port 1800, 236' cam, stock 30PICT, 010, and Abarth 4 tip. While it won't make near the HP the square port combo would have, it will keep Mrs. Sheep happy (she'll be commuting) and it will be a great fit for some vintage sports car rallies they plan on attending. Think warmed-over pre-Cal Look, circa 1966....
Last weekend we finished up rockers, pushrods and picked up the Abarth muffler in Glendale. Pics to follow.

........... an ultra low maintenance, conservative and tidy single-port 1800, 236' cam, stock 30PICT, 010, and Abarth 4 tip..........

Great sounding package there! I'd love pics too, those components are what I've used many times for my daily drivers from 1500 to 1835.
She's gonna love it!
