Title: Rancho Pro Street Type One Gearbox and SAW Short Axles + Tubes
Post by: Fasterbrit on March 08, 2013, 17:16:17 pm
Hi all. Due to a change of circumstances I am selling off a few goodies. first on the list is a Rancho Pro Street swing axle gearbox with short Sway-a-Way race axles and axle tubes. The gearbox and axle tubes have been freshly paint detailed in black by Mark Dryden at Flatlands Engineering. As you well know, he is Doctor Detail! The parts are in show condition! The gearbox is very low mileage. Less than 2,000 miles since it was built. Detailing has just been done and not fitted since. The gearbox has the expensive Type 2 nose cone, so ideal for early cars. Nose cone can easily be changed for later cars.

Ratios are as follows: 3.88 ring and pinion.  3.78 1st, 2.06 2nd, 1.26 3rd and 0.82 4th, making it a great street performance box. Gearbox has all the usual toys such as super diff, super Beetle main shaft, heavy duty side covers, steel shift forks etc. The Sway-a-Way race axles are the shorter type for earlier cars, or for later swing axle cars cars wanting more tyre clearance.

Grab yourself a bargain: £1,200 delivered to the VolksWorld show. Matt 0781 4716578

Pictures will follow... please bear with me as I am convalescing at the mo with a broken foot... :(
