Building a 82X94 motor, using a Autoleania alum case. What tricks  do you use to pull the dip stick tube out??

alot of heat, propane torch or similar seems to work, the ally expands more and the glue/sealant softens up,still a bitch to get them out though

Why to you want this, I always use Typ1 style case's in my Notchback. You can use the Typ 1 tipstick with Typ3 cooling or you can use the tipsticktube for a tipstick-tempsensor

i had one removed and regretted doing so. i just fit a rubber which is blocked off at the top over it with two clamps and that is it. easy to remove and you won't see a thing when you put the type3 cooling on it.
