Where would one find the clear indicators that go where the horn grils go in the uk?? sort of traditional old school cal one's

check the wattage of the bulb they use, less then 21W and they'll flash too fast without an electric relay doing the work....

Biggest problem I've found with them is getting orange bulbs. The pins are offset on some bulbs, same height on others. Can't remember off the top of my head which way round they are, but the orange bulbs you can get everywhere at the moment don't fit! I ended up using Tamiya model paint on mine...

I got my bulbs off ebay. A seller called "Stripey Elite". (They were opposite pins.) £2.95 a pair (back in November  ;)) - OC

Indicator repair tape or paint?

This is the stuff Neil is referring too. The image was found on a Google search, but you can find it in any good hobby shop or online model/hobby suppliers around the World...

Tape the bulb's base to a stir stick for example and dip the bulb's glass end into the paint and let the excess run off, then set it aside to dry. My bottle is old and has thickened so it only takes one coat. New bottled paint may be thinner and require two coats.
It also works great to refurbish old faded amber lens. Depending on how faded they are, you airbrush one or more light coats on the inside.
You can buy their reducer/thinner too, but it thins readily and cleans up well with simple 70% rubbing alcohol.

Look around the various swap meets coming up this summer, Lucas lamps were fitted to a whole lot of British cars, Morris Minor being the most common one,usually sell for around £8-10. For filaments try led , using orange filaments give the fried egg appearance  :( , good luck

I managed to find some replacement LED stop and tail light bulbs, so had the offset pin, that illuminated orange in one of the local max power type parts shops.
Because they are the wrong colour for stop and tail lights the packaging is marked 'not legal for road use'.  ;)
You need to make sure that the wiring to both indicators is the same or you may end up with one bright indicator and one dull.
