It only had about a 3 inch crack but they welded it all the way around just to make sure it would be good to run on your daily driven vw. This is a solid wheel and is straight and true. This is a solid wheel and is straight and true and I wouldn't hesitate to use this wheel on an every day basis as it is a solid wheel.
