Title: Vans Shoes
Post by: RichardinNZ on April 30, 2013, 04:42:57 am
Hi
Does anyone know whether the business ' www.vansshoesforless.com ' is legitimate?  Has anyone ordered from them?  They are apparently at 18322 Ward St. Fountain Valley, CA 92708.  I've had a look at Google Earth Street View but 18322 doesn't appear to face the street so I can't check out the signage on the building!

Thanks
Richard

Their prices don't seem to be all that much better than getting them direct from Vans. I

How long do your Vans last? Mine seem to get beat pretty quickly ... Probably under two years to wear a pair out. It's a little frustrating.

I was hoping this was a topic on the $200 Bug-In vans they put up for sale this year in honor of the 45th anniversary of the Bug-In... that was a promotion that cries out for snarky comments. lol.

Javabug; I wish I got that long as mine lasted about a year which was longer than the last DCs I bought....my wife tells me I'm heavy on shoes!

bugnut68; bit out of my price range...I also wondered whether if I had one of the 100 pairs made whether I'd wear them or put them in a cabinet....

2 Years??? I wish!!!

I've been looking at the pair I bought around October and thinking they need to be replaced soon.
I do wear them pretty much daily though.

Ha, I was probably being pretty generous with mine. Sounds like I'm on about the same track as you guys are. I bought two pair last time and I'm trying to distribute the use, but they're still wearing.

Now my "beater" pair are getting pretty bad so that I'm nearly in the boat for a replacement pair to use for not-so-good use. It's freakin' complicated!

I'll buy 2 pair of the slip-ons for a year. I have a pair of black on black for dress i've had for 3 years. But they only get worn on Sunday and other formal occations.

Richard,
I work accross the street from this place, if you want I can check them out for you. I can take a picture of the sign if you want.  There prices look descent, I may start buying from them.  Thanks for the heads up.

For anyone here in the so-cal area (I'm actually from Ohio), the Ontario mills Vans store has a sale going on and I got two pairs for $30. You can't get that pricing anywhere else.

Hi everyone....another 'lounger' has offered to look at an outlet store for me so I'll see what happens.

Low Oval; be good to see what you find if you look at vansshoesforless for future reference.

Many thanks
Richard

I'm usually focused on keeping my knuckles off the ground.

Damn, that's for sure!

Mine only last a week in "new" condition.   Then they're just shoes again.   I've never been able to master the clean shoe look.
