does anyone know more? Title: Re: CT company England Post by: Fastbrit on April 30, 2013, 10:14:04 am CT = Conversion and Tuning
Generic British performance accessory company from 1960s & '70s. Produced many different manifolds and carburettor kits for large range of cars, especially Minis and Fords. :) Title: Re: CT company England Post by: nicolas on May 01, 2013, 07:18:03 am any relation to speedwell and empi? as i must assume that 48 IDA's were scarce even in england in the sixties and even the seventies...
Title: Re: CT company England Post by: Fastbrit on May 01, 2013, 07:44:02 am No relation at all. We used 48IDAs on our rallycross Beetles in early '70s. CT used to just copy any other manifolds available.

http://mk1-performance-conversions.co.uk/conversion_tuning.htm Check out the photo of the guy preparing an IDA carb ;) I have the same manifolds for IDA and they are a copy cat of the Empi globe manifolds. |
