Title: Hurst Shifter fix Post by: Kaferdog on May 30, 2013, 00:10:34 am Hey can anyone point me in the right direction as to a replacement wire for a Hurst shifter..?....My wire broke and just need to replace it ,the rest is in great shape, I heard "Guitar string " "welding wire"...ETC ...But want to know what would be best...Thanks

I was going to link you to the place i got mine from, but their web page no longer is there. I got a 10 foot length of the wire. and it wasn't a lot of money at all. With that much I was able to measured my broken one, cut and learn how to install it and bend it to the right length.
