I'm in the process of checking my rings gaps. I use DEVES rings with AA pistons and cylinders. Ring come from aircooled.net. I have about 0.01" gap on top and compression rings which will be adjusted to 0.015". My problem is about oil rings, they have HUGE gaps, about 0.08" .... Is it normal with Deves rings or is there a problem with mines? Do I install AA oil rings? (http://images.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/1067944.jpg) ??? |
