I am "bugged" since i bought in 1995 my first issue of VW Speed... on the cover was a chopped custom bug called street roach... A few weeks ago i bought a nice 68 1300 bug, and iŽll build a summer daily late looker..... HereŽs a pic of the beauty ;)

If it was mine I'd add dropped spindles and discs on the front in Porsche pattern, redrilled rear drums and a set of anodised Fuchs. A set of used fake gasburners... i know i know, but the price was hot 8) they are in very good condition.... After that i had to narrow the beam 1 inch because the disc brakes are wider than drums. You said that quiet packs are coming (duals would look great!) So the only change I'd make is to black out the letters on the rear tyres - I've never been a fan of them!
