Title: Msd advice please
Post by: Rocket Ron on July 01, 2013, 11:12:46 am
I'm starting afresh with my ignition and looking at the msd product range

Looking at having the flexibility of a three step system, if you were buying a fresh set up what would you go for. i.e modules, coli, control box etc

Normally aspirated 2276 hot street motor, with the possibility of adding gas at a later date

Thanks in advance for your advise

Just want a bit more flexibility Peter, additional add ons for magnetos are a bit limited and I need all the diving aids I can get

Cheers for the English lesson lids, believe it or not I do know the difference ( as per the thread title).

with an iPhone keyboard, my sausage fingers and 3 hrs of sleep last night I think I can be allowed a minor mistake. Quite surprised I didn't get your reply in red ink  :P

Hope you handed the note from your mum in at school this morning, wouldn't want you getting detention for being off last week  :D

Thats exactly what I used in the old race car, no problems as long as the battery is fully charged. As soon as it drops, you can have little misfires at higher rpm. I kept it all when I sold the car and I'll use it again on the new one!
